The final stop of any tour generally has a festive vibe. Bill Walton in Berkeley on Wednesday will not disappoint.
Wrapping up a 10-week, 3,500-mile journey on the campus of California, the Pac-12 Networks/ESPN analyst will speak at 1 p.m. PT in the Haas Club Room. Everybody is invited and the first 50 Cal students who arrive at 12:30 can even snag some free pizza.

But Bill isn’t content to leave it at that. He’s planning a party, on his tour bus, prior to calling that night’s Cal-Stanford game for ESPN, and the public is invited. From the host, via email:
“Why don’t we have a bus party? It is Berkeley after all. Meet on the bus from 6 to 6:30 pm. I will go into the gym and the party can roll on forever.”
So yes, Bill Walton is hosting a party and you all are invited. If you’re in the area and would like to take pictures on the bus, hang out with a basketball legend and listen to a little Grateful Dead over the PA, be outside Haas Pavilion near the student entrance at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
Let the good times roll indeed.
