It’s Championship day, folks! The UCLA Bruins head north to take on the Stanford Cardinal at 5:00 p.m. PT on FOX with the winner going to the Rose Bowl in the second ever Pac-12 Football Championship Game. Are y’all ready for a rematch? Rule of Tree points out that Bruins fans had plenty of excuses for the first round, a 35-17 decision in favor of Stanford. Those claims won’t hold up in a championship game, however.

Stanford football asks its fans for some support on Friday by saying they need YOU to finish the job.

On the Bruins’ side of things, UCLA has been the recipient of Larry Scott’s plan to split the conference into two divisions, which has resulted in the Bruins representing the South twice in the first two years of the Pac-12 Championship Game. In order for the Bruins to avoid a similar fate to the inaugural championship game, they will have to stop Kulabafi, or Stepfan Taylor. The other question on UCLA fans’ minds is, “Can the Bruins turn the tables?” Tune in to find out!

It’s not the only game going on this week, nor is it even the last of the Pac-12 season before the bowl games begin. Oregon State is hosting Nicholls State in a make-up of the Sept. 1 game that was postponed due to Hurricane Isaac. Remember those connections we were talking about yesterday? Well, Nicholls State head coach Charlie Stubbs got his start with Oregon State; it’s the first place at which he was a full-time coach.
